That is the first time for a long while where the reaction of,some of the crowd, affected the team negatively.
Wherever you stand on Trent, you are there to support the team. I thought they had got it right when starting to sing about Stevie G. However, it didn’t turn out that way.
We have enough people from the outside waiting for excuses to pile on Liverpool and scousers, don’t make it easy and give them excuses.
I had the same impression Alan ... the players (plural) seem to become jittery with passes once it was apparent that Trent was being booed ... perfectly illustrating the idiocy & selfishness of booing any of our players on the pitch
Even then.. I think the main reason Sterling got booed so much with city was that (a) he was a really good player for them and (b) it clearly had a massive impact on him. (C) a+b was really funny
I honestly think if Sterling had got booed and it had no impact it would have stopped.
So I would expect Trent to get booed if he turns up with RM if you play well you just end up respecting ability.

Yes it was so obvious. Even if they had got it out of their system once he was on might have been an improvement. Just my opinion.
that last sentence Mo ... perfectly captures my feeling
I hope that got it out of their system because nothing like this should happen on the 25th to distract from celebrating the 20th
boo him next season if u want ... when we beat them, again, in UCL
Ahh I agree with that.

You’ve gone I’ve done it again, sir… you have managed to both eloquently evocatively and precisely report on the most crucial elements of a match.
It is such a cathartic experience to read your writing when I am so emotional and over here in America .
Thank you.
Great piece ..I'd say you took the turn for home last night 😊
Wow amazing how you write so well so quickly after the game!
I think it’s pretty clear from slot and robbos comments how they feel about the fans booing.
“I can’t tell people how to feel” is only half the sentence isn’t it..
“I can’t tell fans how to feel… BUT..”
And everything is bullshit before the but..
Never been more disappointed to be a Liverpool fan
